Chapter 01

A founder's letter.

"Business is the engine. Generosity is the destination."

I started Hibiscus Foundation in 2014 because every school I visited in Southeast Asia reminded me of the doors that education opened for me. What began as a few classrooms and supply runs has grown — through Eighty-8, EMOI, loyaltiA, and LH Group — into a quiet, deliberate practice of giving back.

We don't chase headlines. We chase outcomes: a child with new books, a family supported through cancer treatment, a heritage language preserved for the next generation abroad, an evening of music that funds the fight against AIDS.

Chapter 04

The vision, in four lines.

A manifesto for the next decade of Hibiscus — and for any business that believes generosity is good strategy.

I.

Education without borders

Every child deserves a classroom — wherever they are born.

II.

Health as dignity

Backing the science and care that gives families more time together.

III.

Culture as inheritance

Helping diaspora communities keep their language, music, and roots alive.

IV.

Business as benefactor

Companies that give are companies that last.
